This Warehouse Receiving Associate will be responsible for a variety of tasks within the warehouse, focusing on the safe and efficient receipt of products, inventory management, and ensuring a smooth flow of goods in and out of the warehouse.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Receive and Inspect Shipments: Unload deliveries from trucks, verify product quantities and inspect goods for damage or discrepancies.Forklift Operation: Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to move products to designated storage areas.Inventory Management: Accurately document all received products and update inventory systems accordingly.Storage and Organization: Properly store products in designated locations within the warehouse to maintain an organized and accessible inventory.Quality Control: Inspect products for defects, ensure all goods are in good condition, and document any issues for resolution.Team Collaboration: Work closely with warehouse supervisors and other departments to support efficient warehouse operations.Compliance: Adhere to all safety and operational procedures within the warehouse, maintaining a clean and safe environment.Reporting: Communicate discrepancies, damaged goods, or inventory issues to the Warehouse Supervisor and management as needed.Other Duties as Assigned: Assist in other warehouse-related tasks as required.
Preferred Education/Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.Forklift certification is required.Prior experience in warehouse receiving or material handling is preferred.Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and effectively.

Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and teamwork skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks for extended periods.A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to safety and quality.Flexibility and willingness to work varied hours based on business needs.
