Due to our continued growth and success, we are currently seeking a Vendor Managed Inventory Clerk to join our staff.
Position Overview:
Independently manages Century Fasteners Corp. offsite warehouse on customer premises. Receives, maintains, and distributes required material to customer production areas. Will work closely with an Account Manager, or Branch Manager to satisfy customer production needs. Requires travel and possible overnight travel.
Essential Job Functions:
Drives a company vehicle to deliver parts to customers
Inventory control
Maintain required stocking requirements on production floor
Cycle counts
Data Entry-billing reports and inventory updates
Customer service
Maintain an orderly work area, and conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety
Qualifications:
2-3 years of experience working in a warehouse
High School graduate or equivalent
Clean driving record
Dependable and trustworthy
Ability to lift cartons weighing 40-50 pounds
Accurate, detail oriented, organized, and efficient
