Job Summary:
BRG is seeking a full-time Billing Clerk with preferred experience in professional services, legal finance, or similar fields. Familiarity with Workday, Intapp, or Chrome River is a plus.
The Billing Clerk will report to the Billing Manager and is responsible for delivering exceptional service to the Firms personnel, clients, and subcontractors. The ideal candidate will exhibit critical thinking skills, meticulous attention to detail, a commitment to producing high-quality and accurate work, and a professional teamwork attitude while supporting the Firm and department goals in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the time corrections mailboxReconcile and modify time entriesReview weekly and monthly adherence to time entry deadlinesConduct weekly reviews of all unreleased expert and staff time entriesSend follow-up reminders to experts and staff for unreleased and overdue time entriesMonitor and track matter activation for time entry purposesManage the billing backup mailboxRetrieve and provide supporting documentation for invoicesPackage supporting documentation to accompany invoicesPerform ad hoc tasks/projects as requiredRequired Qualifications:
1-2 years of relevant experienceProficient 10-key and keyboarding skillsCompetent in Microsoft Word, Excel, and OutlookExceptional organizational skills, follow-up skills, and strong attention to detailExcellent written and oral communication skillsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet established deadlinesConsistent attendance and reliability
