Job Summary
As a growing business focused on demanding markets, we are always looking for ways to improve our products and quality processes. Reporting to the Quality Supervisor, this position directly inspects all Safari manufactured products and incoming raw material. This position has no direct reports.
Primary Responsibilities
Product inspection in all functional cells throughout the production floor and incoming inspectionIdentify, disposition and process all defective productsDocument, scan and advance all compliant productsMaintain records both electronically and manually writtenWork in concert with manufacturing team members to provide written and verbal feedback regarding product quality.Support Quality and Company objectives and goalsIdentify and drive continuous improvement and projects
Minimum Requirements
Quality inspection or related experienceExperience and inspection instruments such as: calipers, micrometers, pin gauges, automated optical inspection and microscopes are beneficial.Basic computer skillsStrong attention to detailRead and understand descriptions, reports, regulations, instructions, technical documents, including prints and electronic dataCertify and maintain an IPC-A-610 certification.
