Shipping and Receiving Clerk Position Summary:
The Shipping & Receiving Clerk handles all outbound and inbound packages. This position also assures that the paperwork placed with customer orders is correct and accurate.
Shipping and Receiving clerk Position Responsibilities:
As necessary or applicable, other responsibilities may be assigned or assumed.
Securely package all products to prevent damage in transit
Assure that tracking information for sent packages is retrievableVisual inspection of all parts being handledAssure that the proper quantity of product is sentMust adhere to all customer requirements and proceduresAssure that shipping supply inventory items are availableVerify paperwork accuracy and proper part is sent using shipping checklistAssist with daily critical shipping item trackingActively participate in daily production meeting to notify team of completed parts received for shipping and parts received from OSP suppliers to processThis position will require driving duties to deliver and retrieve products locally
Shipping and Receiving clerk Qualifications/Education:
Proficient with Microsoft Office applicationsHigh School Diploma or equivalentUnderstanding of Global Shop software and/ERP system Good communication skillsUnderstanding of customer documentation requirementsMust be able to communicate and understand verbal/written communication in the English language.Assist with assembly when needed (training available) Assist delivery driving when needed - Ford Transit Van/16' Fox truck
